Myrtle Beach
Golf Packages
Although Myrtle Beach Golf Packages can be very helpful the Myrtle Beach
Golf Association's website can be recently quoted as saying
"Three words…Be Very Careful! Sometimes we think
there are almost as many so-called “golf packagers”
out there as there are golfers, and, sadly, they come and
go like the tide. We always worry when we can’t find
a local telephone number or street address on a packager’s
website, and, therefore, recommend that the golfers avoid
those guys like the plague".
On the plus side it is helpful to have someone in the area
to help with booking tee times and recommending courses and
accommodations. The person you speak with should be available
to you to answer questions, if they can't answer your question
they should be willing to do some research for you and find
out the information you need, regarding area golf courses,
in a timely manner. They should be unbiased toward the courses
and local. Do not be afraid to ask businesses offering golf
packages if they can fulfill these specifications.
There are many area resorts and hotels that are not affiliated
with any specific golf courses. They are able to get discounted
course rates and are willing to provide the service of booking
tee times and checking rates for free. This probably sounds
to good to be true however; some of the busiest times for
golf on The Grand Strand are a part of their slower season,
before children are out for summer breaks from school and
after they have returned in the fall. Area resorts are willing
to offer these services to fill their accommodations with
no need to make extra money on golf, so these are probably
your best bet. This is especially true when there is a staff
member on hand to email and speak with golfers personally
regarding individual golf packages and courses.

job with golf packages this year please visit our friends at The Myrtle Beach Resort.
